Du`aa Between Your Sajdahs

Here is another du`aa to read between your sajdahs. This is another way you can beautiful your salaah. When you raise your head after the first sajdah, then you recite this du`aa (in red).

“So raise your head and say between the two sajdahs ‘Allahum-maghfirlee warHamnee wa ajirnee wadfa`-`annee innee limaa anzalta ilayya min khayrin faqeer, tabarakallaahu rabbul `aalameen’ (O Lord, forgive me, grant me mercy, grant me protection and defend me against my enemies. I am in great need of the good that your have sent to me. Blessed be Allaah, Lord of the Worlds)

1.     Al-Kaafee, vol. 3, pg. 321, hadeeth # 1
Grading:
1.     Al-Majlisi said this hadeeth is Hasan
--> Mir'aat Al-'Uqool, vol. 10, 127

^^ Only reason why this is Hasan because 'Alee ibn Ibraaheem's father (Ibraaheem bin Haashim), he is ONLY "praised", so that drops the hadeeth down a grading to hasan. But since the person who is ONLY praised is Ibraaheem bin Haashim Al-Qummee, this is regarded as SaHeeH hadeeth anyways. ^^

  1. Salam,

    Is this supposed to be recited before or after "Astaghfirullaha Rabbi wa Atubu Ilayhi"?
