Authority Only Comes from the Ahlul Bayt

Here is a asan (Good) adīth that says there is no authority and knowledge except that it comes from the Ahl al-Bayt (عليهم السلام). Also, within this adīth is the famous mutawātir adīth of Imām `Alī (عليه السلام) where he tells the people “Salūnī (Ask me) whatever you wish”.

From Zurārah said, I was with Abī Ja`far (عليه السلام) and a man from the people of al-Kūfa asked him about the saying of Amīr al-Mu’minīn (عليه السلام), ‘Salūnī (Ask me) whatever you wish, and you will not ask me about a thing except that I inform you of it’. He (عليه السلام) said: ‘No one has with him knowledge of a thing except that is comes from Amīr al-Mu’minīn (عليه السلام). So people can go wherever they desire, by Allāh, there is no authority (right) except from here, and he pointed with his hand to his house (i.e. Ahl al-Bayt (عليهم السلام))’

Reward for Visiting Any of the Imams

Here is a aī (Authentic) adīth that says that visiting any of the A’immah (عليهم السلام) is like the reward for visiting al-Husayn (عليه السلام). This means the reward for visiting any of the A’immah (عليهم السلام) is the same as the reward for visiting Imām al-usayn (عليه السلام).

From al-Ḥasan bin `Alī al-Washshā‘ said, I said to al-Riḍā (عليه السلام), ‘What is (the reward) for one who comes to the grave of one of the A’immah (عليهم السلام)?’ He (عليه السلام) said to him: ‘Like what is (the reward) of the one who comes to the grave of Abī `Abd Allāh (al-Ḥussayn).’ I (al-Washshā’) said: ‘What is (the reward) for the one who visits the grave of Abī al-Ḥasan (Mūsa al-Kādhim)?’ He (عليه السلام) said: ‘Like what is (the reward) of the one who comes to the grave of Abī `Abd Allāh (al-Ḥusayn)’

Reward for Visiting Imam al-Kadhim

Here is a aī (Authentic) adīth that says that visiting the grave of Imām Mūsa al-Kādhim, in al-Kādhimayn or al-Kādhimiyyah, is like visiting the grave of Imām al-Husayn (عليه السلام). This means visiting the grave of Imām Mūsa al-Kādhim has the same reward as visiting the grave of Imām al-Husayn (عليه السلام).

From al-Ḥasan bin `Alī al-Washshā’ from al-Riḍa (عليه السلام) said, ‘I asked him (عليه السلام) about ziyārah (visitation) of grave Abī al-Ḥasan (Mūsa al-Kādhim), is it like (visiting) the grave al-Ḥusayn (عليه السلام)?’ He (عليه السلام) said: ‘Yes’
