ReplyDeleteWhat about Yaqoot (Garnet)and Firozeh (Turquoise)?
Do we have narrations about them as well?
Yes, we do as well. There is a section in Al-Kaafi that talk about Yaaqoot, but all the hadeeth were da`eef (weak) in some sort of way.
ReplyDeleteAnd what about Firoza(turquoise)? I have seen narrations about it in Saduq and Majlisi's works, but are they reliable; considering that scholars tend to be a bit lax in investigating the authenticity of mustahab aamal.
ReplyDeleteSecondly, what about the inscriptions on rings? Can you provide some details?
ReplyDeleteOut of curiosity, are there any ring/gem traders included in the chains? I read in Bilal Philips Usitul al hadith that ahadith about foodstuff contain sellers of that particular foodstuffs in their chain, so I hope it's not the case with rings.
What about Diamonds...Ive heard that they can bring a lot of poverty especially if the Mrs goes for a big one!

ReplyDeleteAre there any ahadith about the authenticity of Dur al Najaf?
