Reward for Remembering Ahlul Bayt and Crying

Here are two SaHeeH hadeeth that talk about the great reward you will receive when you mention the Ahl Al-Bayt (عليهم السلام) in a gathering and if you cry.

Both hadeeth start off with similar chains in a way, and then go through different chains as it goes farther away from the Imaam (عليه السلام). Both chains of narrators go through thiqaat (pl. thiqah) narrators.

“Reward for whoever when mentioning the Ahl Al-Bayt of The Prophet (عليه السلام) a tear leaves his eyes”

From Bakr bin Muhammad Al-Azdee from Abee `Abd Allaah (عليه السلام) said: “Do you sit and speak (about us)?” He (the narrator) said, I said: “May I be sacrificed for you, Yes.” He (عليه السلام) said: “Verily, I love that Majaalis (gathering), and (and I love those who) keeps our affairs alive. Whoever mentions us, or when mentioning us a tear leaves from his eye like (the size) of a wing of a fly, Allaah (سبحانه و تعالى) will forgive his sins, even if they are more than the foam of the sea.”
